Unhappy help help help!!! - hose keeps popping off

i was on parkway doin about 110 ...then i hear POW...so i go to side of road as i do so the car shuts off and loose all power.

i pop the hood to find the hose came off that connects UICP to the throttle body..so i reconnect it and drive slow to get home to check all other pipes, looked like the pipe from the turbo to intercoolor was not all the way on either, but was connected...so i reconnected everything....went for another drive --soon as i bootsted went to like 15psi,...POW again..same hose...so i retightened it again...then i was drivin home very slow not even boostin, and the hose came off again...

is it the clamp??maybe i have to super tighten it....is it the BOV not releasin the pressure or something..idk..what do you think?

invest in a Tbolt clamp....stock clamps are junk, especially if the seal is broken i pipe removed...guarantee you get the right sized Tbolt and you'll never post this newbie post again...you've been here for awhile (you've just been Warrtalon'd)

The clamps aren't tight enough. I use the stock clamps on my car and the only time I've blown one off is at the TB because I didn't tighten it properly. The stock hose clamps use a 10mm socket, try using that on all of the clamps. Just be sure that you do not overtighten them and crush the pipe (it won't happen on the TB inlet pipe, but be careful when tightening the rest). I've run as much boost as 28 lbs and they haven't blown off.

Bro, you don't need to go buy any T-bolt clamps...

Just as was said above, tighten the sh*t out of that worm clamp with a ratchet and socket... Screwdrivers just don't cut it...

You don't need t-bolts - you need common sense. We run a lot of boost, so it pressurizes the entire system and puts a lot of stress on all the IC connections. You can't just have your IC pipes barely hanging on. You have to get a perfect seal and use a ratchet to tighten down the clamp tightly.
