While cruising on the highway in 5th I decided it was time to get into 6th, during my attempt I was suddenly locked out of all the gears and now I cant even get my car into any gear! Before this happened i noticed that 6th gear felt notchy to get into. My car has done 12000miles and i have a heavy duty clutch.

can anybody explain what could be wrong?

 

Sounds like then the shifting assembly comes partly off

I have a picture of that in my archived attachments so i'll post it here with the select lever portion highlighted.

 

i wish i can help this happened to me but it was just 6th gear dat got left out then bigger problems came like the same dat happened to u good luck
