okay i just took off my old taipan xp cat back exhaust, that i was running off with a dp. and i got it off and then i was goin to install my new greddy tic cat back but when i looked at how it was lining up the greddy was like 3 to 4 inches short of clearing the rear bumper. i think my test pipe is to short. im wondering if this happend to anyone else? or wat dp and tp people are running on an 03 evo with the greddy tic exhaust. any advice would be great.

thanks

um...maybe its your test pipe. go check to see if you test pipe is as long as your stock cat

but if thats the case...then your hangers wouldnt fit properly

no its way more in there. i think it has to do that my test pipe is shorter than my stock one. i measured it and it was right around 15 inches. if anyone could let me know how many inches it needs to be so my exhaust will fit please let me know and let me know wat specific test pipe. ya cuz if i connected the cat back to the testpipe theres no way it wud hang from the hangers. so i think it is the test pipe not being long enough.

IIRC, my test pipe was 18-19 inches.

thats probly it... cuz my test pipe is right around 15 and my exhaust was still like 3 in. from being aligned with the rear bumper. so if i buy another test pipe it should work. any1 know how long the ultimate racing test pipe is??

I just installed my Greddy Ti C last Friday and it fit like a glove. No rubbing or hitting on the bumper. So far no bumper burn. Took it out for a long drive and no burn. I have the stock downpipe and cat section. I'm getting the Tuning Technologies downpipe and test pipe on Saturday so we'll see how it fits then.
