I'm good with the stock injectors 20g-9-5 and smc kit.

 

Why were you tuned to an AFR of 7.1 ??? That sounds crazy rich to me....in fact I don't understand how you were not knocking it is so rich...my guess is that was a mistake...Pls. confirm Sr. Noogles...

 

Any body have info regarding meth/stock injectors and a fpgreen--->gt35 turbo? I just want to know if it is a necessity to swap injectors or if it is recommended with a bigger turbo car running alchy.

 

The stock injectors tuned to open the minimum 1ms per engine cycle meaning the motor is being fueled almost entirely by methanol.

The Stoich ratio for Pure Methanol is 6.3:1 or 1.0 lambda. Methanol requires much more fuel (or less air depending how you look at it) to burn properly in an engine since a large portion evaporates and releases oxygen when entering the combustion chamber.

If i was Fueling the car with a basic m7 nozzle and stock injectors i would tune it between 11.2-11.5 @ Peak Tq tapering to about 11.8 on the big end.

I tune my carbed race motors to .78 lamba on methanol or about 5:1 AF

 

how was I proven wrong. like I said most dont understand how to use meth to get the most power, their for for most race gas is just a lot easier to do.
