question about walbro 255 pumps

i have a ix and my goal is to get a tune in the following month. my mods are tbe, mbc, and a drop-in filter.

i was wondering if i need to upgrade the fuel pump for the tune. my concerns are is it safe not haveing the walbro 255 fuel pump with the mods i have and the tune im wanting to get.

i heard the ix's dont need the walbro pump and the stocker one can handle it. if there is some one who can specify what exactly the circumstances are for the mods i have and wanting to get.

thanks

Your stock fuel pump can handle what you've done. If you plan on doing more however, you should probably just go ahead and upgrade it to the walbro. It won't hurt your current set up -- but will run rich if you don't get a tune after the walbro install.

you don't need the pump at this point, with your mods.

I would reccomend getting it, it's a 100$ safeguard and if you plan on running higher boost in the future it won't hurt either. Mainly get it because if you install it after your tune you'll need to be retuned. Why not do it yourself and save some money in the future, install before your tune, that's what I'm doing.
