CBRD and AMS Step 1: it arrives! UPDATED!

Here we go,

thanks to the guys at AMS (eric and martin in particular) our kit arrived today, as promised, RIGHT on time. It shipped to us on friday, as promised.

First step towards a great working relationship.

What surprised us the most, the inventory list in the box, everything checked, and accounted for.

up next, we unpacked everything, re-inventoried it, all here...

and the nicest of all..

so... there you have it, phase one, of the new build... more pics and info to come shortly, dyno charts, AEM install, back to back with the ecuflash tune...

brought to you by... CBRD

Specs are:

35R .63 Tial 38mm rerouted
AMS turboback with resonated test pipe
AMS water/oil lines

going to be swain coated after initial testing...

what was this...

will now be AMS-ified!

thanks again AMS,

CBRD gives two thumbs up!

cb

It is gold, it works better than any other metal at reflecting heat.

It reflects heat, its expensive as gold.

Haha no i just gave a very bland straight forward answer to a probably much more open ended question.

Its gold foil basically, they use it extensively in F1, WRC, and CBRD Speed Factory , it is the best way to keep heat away from things, the McLaren F1's engine bay on the cockpit side was lined in it along with much of the area surrounding the exhaust, its great, its light but its just pricy.

But oh the bling...... and its functional !
