there is the rnr vs AMS on pump 93,

boost is reading slightly higher than the true boost (22.8-23 on the trueboost, 24.1 on the solenoid)

no, sorry ,thats boost, the ams kit ran at a higher boost level...

i didnt do more than 4 pulls, because the car was low on fuel, i would have matched the boost... i will do so this week, ran out of fuel and time.

cb

the AMS kit made roughly 30 more whp and wtq

Thats pretty impressive for only pump gas. RNR parts have always been way behind in performance...and fitment. I would expect to see a huge increase when the boost is cranked! Nice job

AMS FTW.

well, we did make 441whp wit hthe rnr kit on an aggressive pump gas tune..

but that is not the map that was in for these pulls... the temps were similar (we dyno inside, climate controlled)... etc...

here is the break down:

before:

JAM 2.3 and JAM big cylinder head
RNR GT35R with .63
38mm tial 18psi spring pressure, straight dump tube
DC Sports Catless Downpipe
Greddy evo 2 catback

Now:

JAM 2.3 with big head (same)
AMS with GT35R .63 anti-surge compressor cover
tial 38mm with 15psi spring, recirc into downpipe
AMS downpipe, AMS resonated testpipe
AMS catback

More to come!

very cool, Can't wait to see a good comparison of engine management systems. I am sure I know what will make more power, but at what cost.
