i had that combo & really liked them in my dd.

check out my dyno comparison below of 272i/264e vs 280/280 both cam sets were hks.

if you want mid range torque & transient response with decent peak power, the 272i/264e combo is great.

if you want peak power, then get something that suits your needs.

enjoy

Yeah I am really thinking about getting the 272/264. And low to mid range torque is really what I want. Plus I think it would help my car out with my current mods once I get tuned. Thanks alot wot

I had them for a little over a year and really liked them. A good overall combo. Best trap with them was 120mph on the stock turbo so the make good power!

I heard there is not much difference from the 272/272 to 272/264's. I have 272/272 and they are great.

I read that also in some old posts lol its confusing which set up to go with. I noticed that not that many people have 272/264 mostly saw 264/272,272/272 and 264/264 in the posts I read.

idle smoothness is greater with the 272/264 vs 272/272, even at that, it's not a huge difference.

i'm liking the 272/272 combo. what about cam gears? i know it would not create more power but would they spread out the power curve of course w/ a good tune?
