Installed TestPipe Now less Boost

Ok, I just installed a test pipe and now my car won't run as much boost. Anybody have similar problems? My mods consist of DP, Catback, Intake, Hallman MBC, and Mail-In DynoFlash. Before install, avg 22-23lbs falling to maybe 18lbs. Now inconsistant, maybe 20lbs falling to 17lbs. Should I crank up the MBC? This whole thing seems strange to me.

The drop in PSI which you describe seems logical, as you have just lowered exhaust backpressure by eliminating a four year old, clogged up catalytic convertor. Just turn the boost up.

Turn up the wick it is... I thought the drop in backpressure would make it drop, but wasn't really sure.

Ok I turned my MBC up and it seems to have no effect. I thought it was helping, but now it seems to be where it was before I adjusted it. WTF???

Nobody has any more thoughts??? Could it be that my secondary 02 is seeing very dirty air? I'm waiting on my CEL fix to show up from Gruppe-s. The light hasn't come on yet though.

A drop in boost is not always a bad thing; your engine is now a more efficient air pump and can move more air with less boost. Still, you should be able to crank it up a bit.
