stock is suppose to engage at high point, but if u must, i think there is a nut right behind the clutch paddle, loosen that nut and adjust the rod that is connected to it. i don't know which way to turn is to set high and low, you have to try it out.

so do you think grinding at high rpm in 5th only could be a warn clutch so it needs to be adjusted?. Maybe the pressure plate is not release all the way do to wear.

here ya go. do it this way as it's the proper way to check to not cause damage to synchros or other components. you really shouldn't adjust the pedal to where you want it to be, there is a certain spec it's supposed to be within for everything to work properly.

A clutch that engages too high runs the risk of having too much preload on the pressure plate (the throw bearing is riding on the fingers). Too much preload will cause slippage under power.

my clutch engages almost all the way out and its an aftermarket act. it was in the car when i bought it but it feels fine under driving conditions but when i try to launch it (only 2 times) it slips all the way out. i think sonicnofadz just answered my questions. thanks
