acd fault codes

hi guys

my friend has a problem, every now and then all his acd lights come on, then after a while or if he turns the car off and on they go out.

we did pulled fault codes 82 and 45 from the ecu.

any1 know what the problem is? this is on an 8 mr.

i personally think its the relay (if there is 1) or part of the wiring or the pump.

its goin back to the dealer but we have no faith in them, and the fact its jus been serviced is a joke. the dealer reckons it might need bleedin, but then theres the arguement that they should have checked their work.

to add this car has had a new pump fitted, and part of the harness replaced b4.

any help on this issue please.

Both 45 & 82 relate to pressure sensor.

45 = Open-circuit or short-circuit of pressure sensor system
82 = Electric pump malfunction or pressure sensor defect

These have a tendancy to play up and can be replaced quite easily.

this has to be the best thread on evoM ever... someone asks a question, explains what he needs thoroughly, someone replies with exactly the right answer, no bashing no smart *** comments... what a wonderful day this appears to be lol
