wow this is a useless thread.

my megan never cracked.

now i have a full race, and i doubt it will crack. all manifolds/headers glow. its the nature of the beast my man. that exhaust gas is upwards of like 1500 degrees.

Just got done racing my friends FD (i lost that thing is a beast.)
But when we finally got back to my house i popped the hood and my new
megan racing headers were glowing, not red hot, but hot enough that before we got the flashlight out i could see the outline of them in the dark.

It was kind of cool, never saw this on my own car before.

My Megan headers haven't cracked either. Had them for over a year. If they do, they do, I'll either get other headers or replace them. But I am convinced that they give better spool than the stock cast iron (ported or not).

We have had a Megan Manifold on one of our Evo's since about 6 months after the Evo was released. The Megan I still on there without any cracking. Of course it doesnt look very pretty now from all the heat cycles and rain and crap, but heck, it has given 3 years of great performance. Oh, and this whole time it has been holding the weight of the turbo without the O2 bung bracket, the O2 housing didnt have a place for it so we didnt use it. Still no cracking.

I think Im going to stick with tubular.

Was going to put on a MR header on my evo, but you hear so many bad things about them cracking.
