Hey just curious will the evo VII rear bumper bolt up to the Evo VIII? I was compairing the body lines and they looks extremely similar. I know the taillights are the same and the wings and trunks. I think it's basicly an Evo VII underneath lol or am I wrong about that....

Oh and if the crashbar is the only thing holding it back from fitting then i'll take that out... lol

 

being the USDM EVO VIII front end is different then the JDM EVO VIII front end. I would guess they VII's front end would not fit without some custom work.

I'm guessing because of the front end of the EVO had to be beefed up to pass front end crash tests etc. Can anyone verify ?

The VII bumper cover will fit a VIII if you work the crash bars and get rid of any absorber boxes.

 

yea it will... it does look slimer and nicer than our big assed cars...lol... but yea dont do the front, thenyou'd have to do the hood to match... $$$$

I have EVO7 front bumper on Evo8. You will need Evo7 hood as well. I used cusco evo7 hood.

 

He wants the rear bumper, not the front....as mentioned, yes it will work (see value's post above), and would allow you to use all the JDM exhausts without experiencing "tip envy"
