I am wondering which downpipes clear the tie bars on the IX? I have the apexi on my 1G and it hooked up to an apexi N1 and I love the sound. I would like to use a single downpipe hooked to an exhaust and not have to use a test pipe i.e. apexi or DC if they will clear?

 

tanabe works like a champ... the dc is tight, i cant remember if it hit off hand or not

 

The new Megan dp for the IX is working really well, PM Zeus and see what he can do for you. I got my Megan Catback/testpipe/o2 Housing from him and was one of the best experiences I've ever had.

 

For 3" get the Megan, for 2.75" get the Tanabe.

I have the AMS dp and its clears everything very nicely.

 

AMS DP. I do have the carbing 6point lower brace though lovely piece, i think this will clear any DP you throw at it

 

I have the DC sports DP and it fits great the only thing you have to shim is the front lower arm bar with some spacers or washers....but it def. clears the rear arm bar. It has plenty of clearance for the oil pan too.

 

I have the Tanabe dp work great on my car. NO RATTLE FTW!!!!!!!!!!

 

Our Buschur Racing 3" downpipe fits the 9 with no issues.

 

i have the invidia 3" downpipe on my ix mr. the only thing i had to do was place some washers under the bolts on the front tie bar. other than that, it fits perfectly.

megan racing 2.75" fits great

 

My DC Sport down pipe had about 2mm of clearance w/ OEM o2 housing. When I used an aftermarket o2 then it hits the ACD case. Sucks. I had to bent the hangers a little and clamp the Dp to one of the tie bars so it won't rub anymore.
