Vibrating pedal

Just had my RPS carbon clutch rebuilt and new trany installed, and this vibration just getting on my nerve.

Clutch pedal vibrates when is out. Any gear but only on low rpm. When I depress pedal more than 1-2 inches, vibration goes away.

I know there were alot of thread about similar issues, but I havent find any real reasons why and how to fix it?

Consider this: it is the same clutch I had before, just rebuilt. The pedal did not vibrate al all before clutch rebuilt.

I haven't installed a clutch on a Evo but on my old WRX there are balancing marks that have to be aligned (clutch to flywheel) or it will cause a vibration in the pedal. Generally the balancing marks on the pressure plate have to be between the dowel pins on the flywheel.

I thought the flywheel is pre balanced (and still after cutting) and the pressure plate is too, so when the two are together they are still balanced.

It's hard for me to imagine a pedal vibrating directly from the clutch with two fluid boundaries. Maybe the pedal has play and is vibrating from normal vibration. Just clutch pedal vibrates alone? Did you bleed the air out of brakes too?

did you have the TOB replaced or did you use that same one back. The clutch pedal vibration is cause by the TOB or the pressure plate it self. maybe the installer broke a piece of the retainer clip on the pressure plate or the TOB IS HALF WAY IN THE RETAINER or the bearing it self is bad.

How much would it be to change the TOB? Someone told me it would be the price of a clutch swap. Is there any truth to that?

^techniclally you have to go threw the same bs to get the TOB out you would to get the clutch out...can always tackle it yourself ....but would a TOB really cause vibrations threw the master cylindar to the padal?
