Exclamation To anyone that has vibration in their clutch pedal...

I went to the dealer to find out about my clutch pedal vibration. It occurs when I put a slight amount of pressure on the pedal. I started up another evo at the dealer and it did not have this vibration. The service manager decided not to look into it further as it doesn't really affect anything. Who else has this problem, and if you have had it resolved, what was the cause?

Have the problem, but it doesn't harm anything as far as I can tell, so it's not really a problem to me. I had NW Mitsu service dept look at the clutch, and they couldn't find any problems, so my brother and I tore down the clutch, and didn't find any problems.

Resolution was that neither dealership service nor I could find anything wonky in the clutch plates or the tranny or the clutch cable or any other part of the clutching system that was "off" but the vibration is still there.

I just got an OEM clutch installed, and the pedal is vibrating alot, when I lay my foot on it, before it is depressed in ! from what the other guys are saying, I am not going to worry about it.

I'm not worried, just wondering what's causing it. Hopefully not something that will cut down on clutch life.

I have the same problem. It started about a few days ago and the car only has 900 miles on it. I haven't even dumped the clutch at high rpms yet.

I have the stock clutch with 5900 miles. It's been giving me a LOT of pedal vibration when disengaging and engaging the clutch. It only happens right when the clutch is grabbing or releasing. I haven't brought it to the dealers attention yet as I assume they won't be of much help. I plan on bleeding my clutch this weekend and seeing if that helps.

vibration in clutch pedal

Fingers crossed it is just clutch assy. I was experiencing lockout over 6k and vibration during normal accelerating but smooth cruise at highway speeds. *still some vibration if clutch pedal was slightly pressed while driving. Can anyone chime in and inform if they replaced clutch assembly and issue was resolved? I have a local shop tech saying it could be bearings in the trans failing....

To anyone that has vibration in their clutch pedal...

Throw out bearing could also be failing. Is one of the "fingers" on the pressure plate it loosing its strength, it can cause an uneven force on the throw out bearing causing this vibration.

I had a bad vibration from my clutch pedal until my throw out bearing broke. Ended up replacing both clutch and throw out bearing.
