I know Richard at DynoComp in Az has had success with tuning 1000CC injectors on the stock ECU using the EcuTek. But that maybe a long way to travel from Jersey. I think the main issue you will have with the injectors is your idle. If you are running a stock turbo that size of injector maybe a little too big.

It is possible but it does take a while to get it right. My numbers below were made on the stock block/ecu on precision 1000cc's. You can call Atlantic Motorsports in MD, and ask for Mike. I believe he tunes stock ecu on 1000cc's often.

i'm doing it right now, my fuel trims are pretty good but the car still runs a lil rough. The size of the turbo has nothing to do with the idle.

precision 1000's are the most common I see used in evos. They are the same ones that Buschur, and AMS sell as their own.

The idle may be weird on those w/stock ecu, not unliveable but nowhere as smooth as stock

for the last year i've been running 1000cc RC injectors on a stock ECU with ECUFlash. LTFT & STFT are with 3%, the car idles fine and doesn't have any driveability issues what so ever.

I tuned it myself with the help of a bunch of threads over in the ECUFlash forum, do a search, there is all the INFO you need in the archives.

Check out Precision Turbo & Engine(Precision) and Fuel Injector Clinic(FIC) for Delphi, ball- type injectors. FIC currently has a special $320 price on the set of 1000 c.c. injectors.
