About that K&N filter, what exactly is the year of the car that it was made for and the exact name of the filter. Is that just a normal filter or is it the FIPK one. Looks awesome. P/N of the filter would be very helpful.

 

MAN ALL VR4's are the same, the kit is for a 91-99 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 and also for Dodge Steaths, it is made by K&N and is part of an FIPK. If it is REALLY needed i'll go find the part number and post it.

 

Well... just need to verify because I called a place that is a K&N distributer down here locally and he said that there is one available for the Evolution with the FIPK. Kinda threw me off a bit there when he ask why am I getting the VR4 filter if there is one for the Evo.

P/N is always great though for reference. If no one has it.. it's all good! No biggie.

 

i got the custom upper IC pipe w/hks ssbo comin off of it... also got K&N intake from altered... now the problem is... of course im running rich so my driving isnt too smooth.... **** almost stalls sometimes.... and now the major problem... my SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT IS ON... WTF!... ne one else have this problem

 

chillin how much for that from altered? i think i'll go with that because with my HKS super afr it has EIDS, so the idle won't be that bad....

Try disconnecting your batter for about 15 minutes, it will reset the computer, and it might learn it better...it should drop the CEL, at least for a while

my ANTI LOCK light is still on, and mitsu is being a ***** about getting me an appointment

i got mine from rockville mitsu, since my gm is also the gm there. I dont think they are very good from what I hear from others.... try stolhman Mitsu in VA...I hear good things!

I did dyno at AA yesterday ..272.9 whp...242.8 tourque... that was my 3rd runa dn I had alot of heat soak, it bwas very hot in there... had a 350z dynoing in there right before me

What did the Z dyno at? Did you tune your afc?

 

you know...I dunno what it dyno'd at... I actually wasnt looking...I know it had an intake and exhaust...I was busy looking at the MachV white evo that was there also...
I did tune the AFC
