I'm heading to Buschur's next week for the DSM/EVO Shootout. But either way, it's a long trip!

Good, let's trade it for mine with the blown thrust bearing so I can make the shootout.

With the way theses things are somebody could grab this one and sell it on ebay for twice the money to someone that doesnt want to wait.

I have actually been very nice and polite every time I was on the phone. I am went the same path as you, being an *** gets you nowhere, in my opinion. I dont know why I ended up waiting so much longer than everyone else, as I said before, I honestly think I have been jumped on the list by several people.

On the bright side, I should be receiving my turbo some time late this week. Unfortunately they were not able to complete all of the custom work I was having done on it unless I wanted to wait around another month or so, I decided to just have them ship it out now and find someone locally to finish the work, I am just tired of waiting. Thankfully it appears my wait is about over.

cool, you can definitely do the "port" job yourself with a dremel it's not worth the 45.00 they charged me.

I "fixed" a $45 port job by FP the other day. It was barely gasket matched and I wouldn't even call it a port as it was more like a beveled edge. 25mins of porting later it was all ported and smoothed out properly.

Spending $45 on the optional port job is a total waste of money in my opinion.

Now that it seems like the wait is over, those who got the turbo, got it tuned, and have miles on it, was the wait worth it? Are you happy you waited? what are the biggest pluses, and negatives of this turbo, compared to your old turbo? I can't wait to get mine over the winter.
