yeah, I was tempted to tell them to forget the porting if that's what's holding it up, but I have a ported stock mani and want to make sure it'll flow as well as it can. I can probably do the "port" job myself, but I think I'll leave it to the experts.
Man, Im glad I sent my core in right when they started offering this. I KNEW this would happen. I was one of the first 10 people to get my turbo turned into a Green and took about a month!

well whoever is next in line, ive installed my green turbo so ill be sending in my VIII turbo with 10.5 hotside core. robert told me that the main limitation is the hotsides, they have IX compressor housings apparently (for new orders) and compressor wheels as well, but hotsides they are short of.. according to him.
That is true. They must take the hotsides and send them out to some place that bores them out in order to fit the new turbine wheel. This is what takes the longest time. They can only do so many at a time.
but for the readers of this thread seeking a no BS assessment on the actual wait time id say its 3 months.
if u order a green assume its going to take 3 months. if ti comes a bit earlier then take it as a bonus.
I bet they would still quote you 2-3 weeks though, just to get your business.

FP didn't charge my debit card yet though so they don't have my money.

send me a PM and if you're serious I'll cancel my order with FP.
good luck, you have at least 2months to wait. AT LEAST.
