I think that the Forge piece is gorgeous. I however happen to use an economical alternative, which without drawing comparisons, has served me well for three years with no problems whatsoever. This is the DeJonTool manual boost controller, and although it doesn´t look much better than a fish tank valve, it does its job, which in the end is all that I can ask of it.

Hallmans are the best ones by far and I buy no other. I have a couple ProRX Hallmans for 95$ w/ free shipping if anyone is interested.

You have two options....

You can try lubing up the ball with some synthetic grease

Or you can get a Hallman ES for like $10 used from ebay and blow that forge out of the water..

OLD SCHOOL HALLMAN FTW!

Now someone argue with me that the Forge is the best MBC on the market cause it clicks, big deal...

Exactly my thinking. Ive yet to see a Hallman problem yet Ive seen countless threads of Forge MBC's not working properly, needing to take them apart and grease them up Give me a break. Just buy the damn Hallman and be done iwth it

This is rediculous.

We have sold thousands of units with no problems whatsoever.

All of which none of you will ever know about because it's never posted about on the forums.

A very limited number of units, less than 1%, have had minor issues that just happen to be posted about on the forums, and immediately our products suck altogether, huh?

Every single unit that has ever had a problem has been repaired or replaced completely free of charge under our unlimited lifetime warranty, and we have never had any issues with them since.

Obviously, this person slipped through the cracks and for that, I am deeply sorry, however, we will absolutely do whatever is necessary to ensure that every single customer is 100% happy, just as will happen in this instance.

If you give up on us before giving us a chance to make it right, however, it's not for lack of effort on our part.

We're small company, and we greatly value our customers, so we monitor the forums and these types of things as much as possible. We can't afford to ignore our base like the other larger companies whom you NEVER see on the forums.

We're quite friendly too, so all you have to do is give us a call.

Gimme a break. I dont know one person out of around 50 who have EVOs that have the Forge. Ive seen TONS of threads about your MBC, NEVER about any other mfg. Ive heard you guys were telling customers to take apart the things and CLEAN them...

I never said your products were crap, but I sure as hell would never buy any of them.

What goes ignored, however, is the people who have already posted saying that they've never had a problem.

They only appear to be in the minority because everyone makes a bigger stink out of the negative threads while the positive ones fall by the way side.

I've offered to rectify the situation.

And I'm very pleased. Thank you, but if there is ever the tiniest problem, however, it will absolutely be taken care of for you completely free of charge.

The same thing goes for everyone else!

I am always mentioning my cheap DeJonTool MBC. I bought it a few years back as one of my first mods and at that time the Forge UNOS wasn't available yet. It(the DeJon) is a junky looking little thing and just doesn´t look right in my engine compartment. So, I´m gonna buy a Forge UNOS, because it´s a beautiful piece and I am sure it´ll function as well as it looks.

I have been totally pleased with my other Forge product which is a Forge WGA which I have on my TME turbo. That is absolutely the best wastegate actuator that I´ve ever used and it´s also a gem visually. Forge products are extremely high quality and I would own more of them if I had a bit more money to spend.

I really want to get a Forge RS DV because according to what I´ve read on these forums, I am sure it is the ideal DV for my particular application. I´d also like to swap the Forced Performance HD WGA originally fitted to my Green turbo for the Forge, piston-type WGA available for the IX based turbos. Again, I just can't seem to scrape enough lunch money together at the moment.

Mike, at Forge seems to be a really knowledgeable standup guy who happens to market some really nice Evo performance products, unfortunately this thread is taking an ugly turn in the direction of vendor victimization based on an unrepresentative sampling. I mean, people have had problems with Hallman MBC´s as well, so there is no need to get so scandalous or to start lobbing stones.
