My FORGE MBC sucks!

I had a Forge RS DV in my GT30R Evo VIII. Worked perfectly.
I have a Forge UNOS MBC in my IX. I too resisted putting an MBC in my $30k car, but it works perfect so far, and am using it instead of ECU controlled boost control because it is more stable and not as susceptible to extreme temperature changes. Also, in variations from 20 degrees to the winter to 95 degrees in the summer, adjustment is a snap with like 4 clicks.
I'm a very happy Forge customer.

I have installed a lot of Forge MBC's on cutomers cars and I have only seen one or two out of many hundreds and hundreds go bad
With that said - there was a problem with the Forge silver ones as they are plished and the polishing grit was stuck inside some of them - I solved that by cleaning them
Now I just stock and sell the black ones which seem to work great
BTW - Hallman MBCs I have seen get stuck on many cars requiring the application of a vice grip to unstick them - they are a good product but I prefer Forge for many reasons
Most of all Forge has been a exelent member of the community and very top vendor in customer support
Finally the Forge UNOS and Forge RS bov (if you can get one) make a great combo

lol +1 My Hallman ES is like 5 years old... Maybe older, who knows lol
I bought it used for $15 or $20 shipped from ebay, i dont remember lol
works like a champ and i've never bothered to clean it. I bought it just to hold me over until i had money for the Apexi EBC since the one i made at home depot kept rusting lol

I've purchased Forge parts for my Evo (UNOS) and for the VW I owned before it. Nothing but quality parts and amazing service. I can't think of a better company off the top of my head that I have dealt with for buying car parts.

Just got off the phone with Mike. I really must say that he has to be the most humble vendor i've ever spoken to. the situation is resolved. hopefully the third one will be the charm, as they say.

TWO CHEERS for ECU boost control.
My friend had the primitive Dejon Tool installed by Tuning Tech. Alfred removed a perfectly function ECU boost control. Yesterday we went back to ECU boost control. With ECU boost control you can hold 20-21 psi all the way to redline. With the GM 3 port solenoid you can go even higher with the boost.

yeah one time i called forge to get me a new spring for WGA, because it was rusted and so much gunk inside, they told me its normal! and rusted spring wont change the spring rate,, mm ok , and i knew my forge wga was f up because of that. Now im running LT wga and fixed the boost problem, lol i threw their wga to garbage. I use their BOV fully rec. still was leaking from screws at high boost, so i put some teflon tape - dont ask me how. I see alot of people having problems with their MBC.
