Yes and no. Currently in a normal 02 housing that is not dumped, whether it be stock or Ebay, the wastegate exhaust is being dumped in a turbulent spot, inches after the turbine's exhaust. Re-routing it so it would dump it further down could help, but the most gains will be seen by having it dump to the atmosphere.
I dont think you realize how loud your car already is at full throttle with a 3" exhaust. The extra noise this provides isnt earth shattering and it only makes the noise at WOT. I have bunch of vids of my car racing and stuff with the dump

I would like tio explore the option of attaching a silencer from a Porsche 930 Turbo. Those cars have a small muffler like silincer on the dump tubes.
What we need next is a genuine A - B test to quantify exactly what gains are made (if any) with just the externally dumping tube from the 02 housing
