Case Study #403 - EWG on STock Turbo IX
Al, the title is a bit misleading. EWG means external wastegate. He doesnt have an external wastegate. Its merely a dumptube.
I did this last year on my car. JM Fabrications did the welding.
The sound alone is worth it. Let alone the gains. I did not do a before and after dyno, however my butt dyno seems to be very accurate and it definitely felt better!

Umm the main passage is the side with the 02 bung welded to it....that set up is correct...except in this case the side from the wastegate to the main passage wasnt welded shut which i belive in Al's case its seperate...
No, it was welded shut so both passages are 100% separate.

i have my paypal ready for one of those external wastegates. i dont care about fitment. i'll make it fit. lol. seriously. it sounds sick. yes i have a little ricer in me. someone pm me details on how to get one. possibly some kind person can get a couple fabbed up and sell a few. no one around here has a clue of what im talking about and i really want one. make a group buy thread for interest to see how many people are interested. im sure a lot of people would be.
