That is why I am working on setting up beta testing to see if it works or if it does not work

There are plenty of arm chair experts on the internet who dont do anything but detract from what others are doing and spread negative energy (NOT implying that you are one of them).

Think of unmuffled exhaust noise in a small tube.

It does sound good. Like a quieter version of a big turbo upgrade with an external wastegate. A couple kills maybe, but you don't want none of mine lol.

OK... imagine an unmuffled exhaust. Now imagine that tube, instead of exiting from the rear of the car, from about 12 inches or so from the source. Now imagine it being squeezed out a hole about an inch in diameter. It is ****ing LOUD.

Ever heard an exhaust that's between 95-100db right next to you while it's full throttle and your window is down? Imagine another exhaust added in that is over 110db. It's loud to the point that if you're the car next to someone with an open dump and they hit full boost, it will hurt your ears. Sounds awesome, but it truely is painfull for those near you.

Another way of thinking about the loudness... say you got an exhaust that your girl/wife can hear from a block or two away. With one of these, at WOT she'll hear you from well over 5 blocks.

Dumps are NOT for the weak.

Very loud and mean. Sounds similar to an open external wastegate. I personally think its louder, having had both. I will work on getting a new video of it in the next couple of days. Maybe tonight!

Besides a power gain (which Al will show when doing A/B testing), this mod is GREAT if you live in an area with assertive pedestrians and slow moving seniors. There's nothing that says "get the F*CK out of my way" better than an open dump.

I once nailed it through an underpass and a guy fell off his bike. Its a keeper.

hahaha that is classic. I went for a ride last night and it doesn't seem too loud, but it does sound good. Or maybe I was just stuck in the seat and wasn't paying attention to the noise, but it is not as loud as a 35R from inside.

A video won't do it justice. On video, open dumps just sound like air... in person, it sounds like a full-out N/A drag Honda (well, the noise level anyways... not the tone). Stupid loud.

I think design plays a part in the actual magnitude of the noise. Whatever it is, mine is extremely loud. It actually echoes through my town at night. My friends can here me up to 3-4 miles away at night when I get on it. They always call me and are like "did you just get on it?"
