Has anyone tried one with a motorcycle or lawnmower muffler yet? And if so would that negate the power gains?

I have been in Evos and DSMs with external wastgate dumps (actual external gates such as TiALs), but not any with an internal wastgate dump described here. Anyway, like the videos, the formal is extremely loud and not something I'd want for my street car.

 

I've used a supertrapp on my external dumps in the past and it cuts the noise down significantly without losing power.

the fact that it only kicks in at WOT is what sold me...there's no way I could drive around at partial throttle in this state and have my car make that noise...I guess I'll just have to be more careful about where I get on it cause it literally screams "look at me...i drive a bright yellow car and i dare you to pull me over."

nah, the shop will be taking out my existing helix o2 housing, welding on the external dump, etc, and re-installing....I'll dyno as soon as i get there, then once again after the o2 housing and retune....at least thats what I'm assuming will happen.

That sounds great on the Subaru! Much nicer sound than any BOV I have heard. If someone throws up a good video of it on an evo and it sounds just as good Ill purchase one that day. Whoever is planning production, please PM me with the current details.

the shop called me on friday and told me they had to reschedule due to ups not delivering something in time for them to do it...I'm trying to get in sometime this coming week, if not a week from today. I'll keep you guys posted.

There is no need for a before video with sound really. Its not changing other things. It has it, or it doesnt.
