I know that it might sound irrelevant but it might also sound interesting. FP offeres the same turbokit for the Evo as for the 2 Gen.

The FP3065 is offered by Buschur and also by Forcedperformance, it is the same turbo but for the Eclipse application the FP3065 bolts on directly to the stock exhaust manifold while on the Evo 8 you need a custom exhaust manifold.

I thought I brought this topic up because given the same conditions, the 2 DSM gets a few bolt-on turbos bigger than the LT/Green while being almost an identical engine as the Evo. Weird uh?

My point is that it is indeed very possible and doable to build even bigger turbos than the LT/Green that bolt on into the Evo's 4g63, they are already available for the 2G DSMs

Good insight...

So youre saying if I got a 2G manifold, that will allow me to have more options for a direct bolt-on?

Thats right, thats where the HAFE cast manny comes in. But for just a bit more then a green you can have the 3065 and all that is required is to pull the manny with the turbo.

So all I would need is the manifold and that turbo will bolt DIRECTLY on??

Don't forget you will have to fab up an o2 housing to attatch to your downpipe. I am prettysure that the stock o2 housing will not bolt up to the turbine housing of the 3065. Even if it did for a 2g model, I would think it would put the o2 housing facing right into the radiator due to being "backwards".

well i remember that some guys with the ATP 3037s (3076R) made 420-425whp on pump and close to 500whp on racegas or meth at around 28psi...

This turbokit is 100% bolt-on, can become less laggy if port matched, its a complete kit, you would only need injectors, if you already have other supporting mods like fuel pump, exhaust, mbc...

I think for the cost is one of the best deals. And when you save enough money you can always buy a t3 hotside and tubular manifold and use the big snail at its full capacity...
