Thumbs up Stealth FX BOV pic and first impressions

Just got and installed the Stealth FX bov from www.gofast bits.com

After adjusting the spring rate and adjusting the amount of air I vent, my car is running great with a very loud whoosh when coming off boost. I love it!!!
It is very simple to adjust just a turn of the silver end cap to adjust spring rate and and a turn of the ring below it to adjust amount of air that recirculates back to intake.

You quickly make it silent (completly recirculate) , full vent to air (very loud), or anywhere in between.

Sweet valve. I've read good things about there on the wrx's, your the first I've seen on the evo. Would you be able to give a quick run down on you threw this together? Also what was your total cost? Did you have to custom fab anything?

Sweet Job

Jeff

I've been thinking about getting this BOV too. It's the best of both worlds. Which kit did you buy? I didn't see one for the EVO.

Order the Universal Stealth FX in the color of your choice, there is a place for buyer comments on the order page, just tell them you need it to fit the 03 Evolution VIII and they will send you what you need. The install consisted of removing the air box cover for some room, loosen the two clamps and the vacume hose from the factory bov, install the stealth fx the same location as the stocker and start playing. The valve was shipped to me in Ga from Australia in about a week. Total cost was $359.54 US Its a bit pricey but I am very pleased with the quality and features of this valve.

great pics, i think this is going to be the bov that i choose to buy once i start moddin my evo.. unfortunately it is still stock ;[ but i plan to soon change that!! just a quick question, when would it be most wise to upgrade the bov? like even if your car is stock do you think that it would be good to upgrade to an aftermarket bov or should i get a catback and intake and the such before i do this? just curious as to how i should go about this..
