Forge RS Valve fluttering @ partial throttle

Is this an issue with me needing to make the spring tighter, or is it just compressor surge from the turbo? Thought it was compressor surge when it happened in 5th gear, but it happened in 3rd gear today. Any ideas?

I had the same problem with the RS BOV. No matter how it was set, I could not get rid of the flutter without going WOT. My fix was getting rid of it and got myselft an APS.

Gotcha. Just found some info that says part throttle/partial throttle fluttering is the valve compensating for pressure inconsistencies. It said flutter @ WOT is compressor surge

It should happen on any strong BOV if you try to boost at part throttle.

never had an issue when i had it on my 3076r equip VIII , 0 problems what so ever... havent try it on the IX yet though
