It can be disabled via flash. IF it were me and you are using the stock ECU still, I would get the Magnus (though AMS might have this as an option) because it retains the factory MDP sensor or if you have already added the MAP for logging boost. I spose its not a big deal if you are using something else to log boost or arent worried about logging boost.

What didn't you guys like about the Magnus?

I heard AMS used to use a Magnus manifold on there demo car. This sort of swayed me to believe Magnus had been on the market longer building intake manifolds.

ifarted2... what did you think of the Magnus?

Nick @ Buschur... have you ever done back to back tests with ported stock versus an AMS or Buschur unit?

Well the ported stock would be our BR unit, but no I do not beleive we have done this test sir. We never really felt the need to do it as we know that the stock ported intake manifold works and has meet our expectations very well everytime.

It made the power with the 67mm turbo no problem but i really feel that the welds could have been much better. The welds were only half way thru when i blew it apart from a meth explosion. JR at ETS re welded the entire manifold and really did a nice number on taking a hammer and bending it all back into shape plus sinking the welds all the way thru. Im going to dyno the Maguns with the 42r next week if we do not get the power we are looking for Martin at AMS is going to send me his dual injector setup with a Q45 throttle body he put on it for me. Than we will re dyno her again and se what power level we hit

Welds coming apart, 1/8" cracks along the side of one, etc. Not something I would really want on my car...

Do you do the same amount of porting for all the intake manifolds and t-bodies, or do you port more material out if the car is going to use a bigger vs. smaller turbo upgrade?

We do the same porting to each and everyone. If you were to get a intake manifold and throttle body from us it would be no different than the one on David's 9 second RS, Daniels "37R" 9 second evo or our time attack car.
