On paper the AMS VSR has the potential to make the most power over the BR unit, but the BR version has been proven to eprform also for a decent price while maintaining that stock look and OBD2 compliance by keeping the EGR system intact...

other factors on power output depends on tuning, supporting mods and the turbo used

I think it really depends on what you are shooting for. I know a bit about intake manifold design... and will say that both options are good. For your setup with the stroker motor, I would go with Mr. Buschurs Ported manifold and the larger TB. I beleive there is more torque to be had with that setup compared to the AMS VSR.

The larger Plenum volume of the VSR is very conducive to more HP up top, but the larger you make the plenum, the more torque you loose.

Its important to remember that the TB is one of the largest restrictions of air going into the engine.

If you were a high revving 2.0L, and drag raced a lot, then I would go with the AMS VSR unit althought the Buschur unit is very capable. Either way you will see gains, but I would suggest the ported buschur unit with a larger TB.

Good luck

AMS VSR is design for big turbo, at least GT3076R. even with the 20LT and all the supporting mods, it loses power after the AMS VSR went on.
