whether the kit will work 4 ur needs depends on what the car is used for. all HKS turbo kits & the HKS Kansai kits work very well 4 roadracing. ppl in the us don't buy them bcuz they don't wanna spend the money on a kit that actually makes the engine bay look better. ppl here are about drag & that is not what the car is designed for.

if u r looking for a show quality kit, it's hks hands down. if u want BIG hks power, u need to buy a standalone HKS turbo like the T04z or T51 SPL & fab the rest for an 800-1000hp setup.

Extremely overpriced. Much better kits out there for less money.

I totally disagree......

there are many kits out there that ourpreform the HKS kit for roadracing or dragracing.....

And on top of it, i'm sure many people on this forum will concur that the majority of the other kits on the market are more pleasing to the eye than the HKS kit under the hood.

Such as.... Full Race, AMS, Turbotrix, Buschur, Etc..........

All of these kits are better looking than the HKS kit.....In reality under the HKS heat shield, the manifold itself is pretty ugly IMO.......

This turbo kit is way overpriced. Its the JDM hype. Just call up Extreme Turbo Systems and tell them you wanna make X-amount of whp and they will hook you up proper.

I feel it safe to say that virtually everyone here concurs.

None of turbo kits you've offered for comment are on par with those available from the top vendors here. That's probably because the top vendors here have invested far more hands-on, application specific development with their kits than any of the big name, generic parts houses. Just remember, Wal-Mart is a big name too.

The fact of the matter is you will get more performance per dollar invested by doing a little homework, and choosing a kit that is appropriate for your application. You'll have a hard time finding dyno charts from the likes of Greddy and HKS kits, simply because they cost more and deliver less. Being that this is common knowledge, few here would actually consider buying one.

The gt3037s kit is indeed way overpriced..Maybe if they offered T51r Kai kit for the same price, I may jump on it given that its offered in different trims..

I didn't hear any company in U.S. beating HKS carbon Evo.

That's because U.S. companies don't see anyone stepping up to spend $100,000+ for a one-off carbon fiber body.

Yeah you guys are totally correct, HKS can't possibly compete with US tuners
