This is the main reason I brought a 4088TS kit from you for the Evo engine I am doing

Watching with interest on that one Mark. Have my GT40 kit and just waiting on the Cosworth stuff to arrive.
When do you see Jon's being ready for the dyno?

cheers

what do you think about the 2JZ supra (3L) and 4094R?
In that case forget what I said before. With those B18s you're on the map but not approaching the limits of either the 88mm or the 94mm wheel. Even by redline. The 88 will have the edge in powerband, for certain, since the 94 has a kink in the surge line and is working against a more significant wheel mismatch.

The part that doesn't make any sense at all is that you measured higher IATs with the 94 ?? If those B18s are breathing as well as they ought to be then the 94will be turning out LOWER discharge temps than the 88 from around peak power to redline (there is a small efficiency advantage to the 94mm comp wheel in this regime... ). That is very strange...

Also have you measured exh b/p on any of these engines?

Shoot me some specs on the 2jz--boost pressure, redline, amt of headwork, type of fuel etc

I don't think so yet... I know evodan2004 is going to do some testing pretty soon. I think a lot of people are waiting for "someone" else to test the Turbonetics GT35 sized turbo - unfortunately it's a t4 flange so that leaves most of us gt30 guys out. However some 1.06 t3 housings have become available so I think that's what people will be testing. I have one stored up for the future - I will be building a gt35 or possibly an hta off of it and seeing how it does. I was going to wait until I went with a stroker - however seeing how my current setup does, I don't think the spool would be that unbearable with a 2.0.

I would love to see 4088R on a built setup pushing 38-40psi, but until then I can't justify the price. I know what a 35R-HTA will do because we have graphs, dynos, and trap speeds, same goes for a 37R, we don't have anything on high boost from any of the TS kits except for the 42R.

remember im doing a 30r the 35r will be after the 30r and will be done the same way so we can get some good comparison data.
