Or at least an onboard video of the boost gauge, tech, and speedometer to give us a better idea of what a TS configuration can do...

20,000 views later and not one dyno test or data log of a car with this kit on it.

What a let down.

Yea I know the Full Race crowd is busy, but a bone every once in a while would keep your customers happy!

Seriously I look at this friggen thread daily for some graphs or news or even a few lies. What is going on?

Evodan2004 went 11.2@126mph on 93 octane with his 3076R and small .78 A/R TS T3 housing, and I know what that car feels like to drive as compared to a regular 3076R - no comparison.

Not many have ponied up for TS kits, so impressions will be slow in coming. As I've emphasized many times before however, one needs to find a way to test drive one of these to appreciate the difference TS makes, as dyno data doesn't tell the story. I'll never go back to open housings . . . ever!

I have a 30r ts kit now. I'm swaping it out for a 35r 1.06hotside within 2 weeks. Me and geoff are meeting up and dynoing the 30r and then swaping the 35r in and re tuning the car and dynoing it again. You will have perfect comparison here. Just give it time. I went 11.2 at 126.56mph 1.70 and I 1.68 60 foots. This was on my 30r setup. The 35r setup and retune and re dyno. Everyone will have a far comparison from single scroll to twin scroll 30r and 35r turbos with no other changes made. It just takes time. I went 11.2 at 126.56mph with a 1.70 and a 1.68 60 foot. I will make a thread when all are testing is done. Should be up within too weeks if not sooner.

Totally cool EvoDan and TedB that all sounds groovy.

But what I find irksome is that these friggen vendors can't seem to put a car on the dyno, tune it, swap a turbo, and then tune it. I mean what the hell?

I'm a nobody and tuned my AMS 35R and then swapped in an HTA and tuned it. Why can't a shop who makes the damn kits do that?

The cynical side of me says there is a reason for that... it's because there really wouldnt be much difference between a Buschur 35R kit, AMS 35R kit, or a Full-Race Twin-Scroll 35R kit.

I'm also STILL anxiously waiting for Geoffs favorite, the ts 40r. It would be nice to see actual #'s instead of just claims for months. When you said the ts 40r kit will have more power, better spool and street feel than the pt67r, I thought it would be the best big street turbo. But after months of waiting all I see is the add on top of the page that says 40r=780whp. Any details on how you came up with those #'s on an Evo? Why couldn't you sponsor somebody with a built car and do the testing with dyno #'s and trap times BEFORE making claims and advertisements for the Evo? It shouldn't be a problem since you have these kits in stock.

I think thats a rather bold statement to make .

I look at it this way . Why would anyone go to the trouble of developing and marketing a kit that was going to cost more than their competitions and hope to sell anything ?

Also why is that everyone who uses them (and fits and tunes it properly ) raves about them ?

In the end I think you will find that some kits are designed to fit modest budgets and some are designed to have the most function . If function involves more complex equipment then its going to cost you more .

If you could buy an Evo cheaper with a carburettor and drum brakes would you do it ?

How many times do people have to say you WON'T SEE THE RESULTS ON THE DYNO for people to understand? The difference is in tip in and part throttle response where a open scroll feels dead and TS doesn't. There won't be some huge difference in full boost spool up.

As far as 780whp that is from the 4094r not Geoff's favorite the 4088R. A 4088 might hit 700awhp, but I doubt it, IMO you'll see slightly less than the common T3/37R kits floating around.

I think you *might* be right Jasil, but then again, there have been greater gains through more strange approches than this. The 37r being one hell of a turbo, thats hard to beat...I wouldn't be astounded to see the 4088 right in the leagues, but overall with better all over performance.

Just speculation though. Geoff and Full Race have some tricks up their sleeves.

I'll let Geoff and Ted argue that point to death with you both of said the difference is minimal on the dyno. The difference is in drivability!!
