The tranny was repalced with a Reman from mistu when the dealer first got the car.

all you guys are commenting on these ams short blocks and jam blocks but those require a core. his crank is prob wiped out from the spun bearing and i wouldnt want to re-use that oil pump after metal shavings went through it

I think he knows it requires a core. Hes getting an entirely new block from JAM (and is paying the core charge).

The JAM stroker usins a 2.4L forged crank.
Not the OEM one

But every thing is going to be new/paid for

the 2.3 build requires a new front cover with oil pump.. and also new oil cooler..
we WILL NOT put an engine together that spun a rod bearing using the same oil cooler... there is metal in there you will never get out..

Tom was a pleasure to speak too, very open about his goals... asked alot of questions, and ultimately we feel he will end up with a great package!!

glad we could help! adding more JAM to the evolutionm.net dinner table!

Differently was a pleasure as well. I will be calling JAM tomorrow to talk a little more with them. And then on my lunch break i will also be stopping by the dealer to discuss some stuff with the owner.

I need to mention about the oil pump, front cover, cooler. to make sure they know they need to replace them.

And see what all i have to pay out my pocket, since the KAM block is a little bit more then the OEM one.

Who knows maybe i get lucky and they are willing to claim it all under there insurance/warranty
