I don't have an answer for you as to the idle problems as I don't have these cams right now, but am looking to get them. I am curious to know why your Evo isn't making more power given your mods. What psi are you running? My wife's Evo has a Nisei IC and piping and Hallman MBC and at 22psi the car is making 337awhp with 91 octane.

Mine does the opposite. Somethimes it will go to 1500 at idle and then eventually go to the set 1000. This happens more when its cold. I have HKS 272s. If I lower the rpm to 900 with it become lumpier?

Just a note to add from my original post but I've noticed after a few hours of hard driving--running 100% meth--, the interval between the rise and fall of the idle is longer. In other words, it occurs less often...but this is only a passing observation. The fact that I've added meth may/may not have anything to do w/this problem.

Trouble shooting so far has involved raising/lowering the idle in ECUflash and changing out my walbro fuel pump--on the chance it might have been faulty and not maintaining pressure. I may next attempt new injectors...I'm running a stock turbo so I'm thinking the same size or slightly larger.

Feedback welcome...particularly anyone who has tackled and solved this problem.

I have this problem as well, but I'm on stock cams. I noticed it DID happen once I installed my ETS intake.
