MIVEC Cam Gear Plug Cap broke

I would take the whole cam assembly to the machine shop. If they are experienced enough, they should remove the cap w/o much effort.

BTW, when I had my IX... I used to have a cap and gasket as spares on my toolbox. LOL

we've done more difficult things at the shop. i'm just pissed 'cause i JUST reinstalled my cams after replacing a failed lifter.

i'm really, really, really not looking forward to doing it all AGAIN. at least it's only one cam.

so where did you guys get the part (MD623113)? i tried googling it but its juss not happening.. i broke mine just now too :/
