No, I meant I was wondering if anyone actually reads (sees) the stickied threads. Most n00bs totally skip them. So that means that having a thread FULL OF INFORMATION becomes pointless for people that ignore it.
It's like at my work - people don't read the signs, so I'm constantly having to stop people from breaking the rules.

At least it's something to reference people back to instead of explaining it constantly?
A "Go read this sticky, then let us know if you have anymore questions," kinda thing is a lot easier than re-typing all the information.
