New Pulstar Plugs replacing spark plugs
I am surprised this thread has lasted this long. I thought it might have been something that might be worth looking into but I have realized that Tuners by now tune EVO's using NGK so it is best to stick with that. Stick with what works and trust what experienced EVO tuners use.
DO NOT USE THESE PLUGS ON A TUNED OR MODIFIED EVO!!!!!
On a stock EVO they may be OK, as it is essentially the same as increasing the timing a little, but when your car is already tuned - do NOT use these.
We tested them and lost 10whp through the whole powerband. We took them out after just a couple dyno runs and there were large amounts of deposits on them indicative of pre-ignition and/or detonation.
And yes, at least one person I know of lost a motor because of these plugs. . .
