I just dynoed my car today and i was 282 whp...does that seem low with all the mods i have (listed under sig) or does that seem about right?

 

what dyno, weather, humidity, altitude?

 

Post the sheet. Was this pull all the way to 8100rpm? If so, I'd like to not only see your chart but also ask you why?

I would think 7500 would be about as high as you need to go with 272in cam. What are your cam gear settings? The rest is kinda hard to say without the sheet, unless its just super conservative tune wise.

 

seems low to me, to matter what the dyno, except the buscher dyno, but yeah maybe it is a conservative tune.

That seems about right for a Mustang Dyno. Post your chart.

 

I had three pulls....in 3rd gear it was 282.35 hp and 294.91 tq...another 3rd gear was 278.77 hp and 297.15 tq...and 4th gear was 266.70 hp and 300 tq...humiditiy was 40% and the temp was 85.03 on a dynojet dyno, also my A/F was below 10.1.....the guy said he thought i had a boost leak becuz he heard a hissing which might be the reason for the lose of power and why my A/F were like that...but i got it checked shortly after by my friend who is a mechanic and i was still spiking at 22 psi like usual and he didnt think it was a boost leak...he said it might be my intercooler piping...any ideas? need help i dont have a scanner so i cant post the sheets...sry

 

why did they not do a boost leak test?and those numbers are very low for a dynojet....

 

Yea, very low for a dynojet indeed. Fix the boost leak and log for knock and afr, you should be making more like 330-340 on a dynojet.

 

im still pushing 22 psi so i dont kno hows its a boost leak

 

that does not matter i was pushing 23 24 pounds when i had my boost leak, but the car was going no were......
