Can not pass 11 psi. Help!

I installed my new buschur mbc and my first 2 runs it over boosted to about 26 psi. After i stopped to adjust now no matter what i do i can't break 11 psi. I have replaced and checked lines to the mbc. I have checked all the ic piping and have found no leaks. Is there any other locations to check for a leak??? Thanks.

I know it sounds dumb but make sure you turned the adjustment the right way.A friend of mine turned his the wrong way and had the same problem.

I checked and even replaced the lines to the mbc. turning either way does nothing. I want to do a leak test but haven't had tim yet to get or make the stuff for it. turning knob either way does absolutely nothing.

If you are running with the stock wastegate and you remove the restrictor pill from the line that is closest to the turbo, the wastegate will not hold more than 11psi. No matter how high you turn up the boost on the MBC, the wastegate will dump at 11.

Diezilnj: when you "Replaced" the stock lines, you, in effect, disabled the stock Boost control solenoid.

Either hook up a MBC now, or put your stock boost lines back. This is the only way to achieve the stock boost on the BCS. You cannot use lines without those pills.

Hook up your MBC by the Turbo nipple and Wastegate nipple. Cap off the stock BCS openings (2)

Thats what i am saying it is hooked up to a mbc and i can not boost over 11 psi. It goes from the turbo nipple to the mbc to the wg.

Well, 11psi is base wastegate pressure. If it's hooked up right, then you just haven't cranked the knob high enough. If it's not hooked up right, then you need to fix it. When you originally spiked to 26psi on the first try, you probably just had the hoses backwards.

Anyway, 11psi is very common when people mess with their boost system and don't know exactly what to do. Tell us these EXACT details:

- Which nipple on the MBC does the turbo connect to?
- Same for the WGA...
- What exact hoses are you using?
- Where was the MBC set when you first tried it?
- Where is it set now?
- With the current configuration, have you turned the knob all the way from min to max, and the boost never changes?
