Boost leak?

Hey, I was driving and when I hit peak boost (or when my alky starts to spray) i hear a noise that goes psssssssssssssh the car still continues to accelerate, but it is obviuosly being held back. I'm assuming its a boost leak (loose ic pipe) ... and no its not the stock airbox snorkel as i have AEM intake, upper intercooler pipe with smc injector tap, ams intercooler, stock licp

those are all the mods taht i can think of that could be related, i'm sure i just need to take a look and tighten stuff down... i took a video also that ill post later... thanks in advance i'm sure its nothing too complicated just wondering if some light could be shed before i look at it as i just started college and am on a busy schedule...

thanks Matt

do a boost leak test. Dont just tighten the clamps and think that fixed any leaks

"Taking a look" and "tightening them down" is not going to do anything. You have to do a boost leak test or just enjoy your weak Evo.

just by tighntened all the clamps any more could lead to bending in the pipes. do a boost leak test. if you dont have one you can make one very easy utilizing some easy hardware parts from your local hardware store. it will be a good investment cause you can use it over and over again.

worse case just go somewhere and get a boost leak test. i bet your problems lys there.
