136.41 mph on 93 octane, new record.

Update.

Trent Stanley, who is our welder here at the shop took his EVO out to track again last night for a few runs.

Right before leaving he filled the tank completely with 93 Octane from the local Shell station here next to the shop.

He made two runs, first was a 10.8 at 134.8, a few hours later he made a second run as it was cooler outside and ran a 10.81 at 136.41 mph. The ET isn't his best as the cars gone 10.6 on straight pump gas but this is a new best MPH.

Congrats Trent.

Also, we just finished up a BR350 car (#024) for a friend of Trent's. He made a pass in it last night too, 12.8 at 111.8 mph. Trent says the two step is way to low and the car would just bog leaving the line. I will make an adjustment to that in the reflash and see what it will run. I am expecting the car to run very low 12's in the 114-116 mph range. This particular BR350 has no cat on it.

Very pleased with the power Trent's car is making on 93 octane.

Enjoy.

The car is a fully BR built 2003 EVO.

Stg 3 shortblock, Stg 3 head, BF272 cams, GT35R header kit, double pumper, 1000cc injectors, 3" turboback with two mufflers, Race FMIC, Tial BOV, upper and lower 2.5" i/c pipes, HKS Twin power ignition, lightweight battery kit, Apexi N1 suspension, ported stock intake manifold, 65 mm throttle body and an AEM EMS.

I don't know what his reaction times were, I didn't ask. Doesn't make a difference on the time or MPH....

Could you PM me on what a build like this would cost installed if I were to bring you the car?
