CBRD new dyno record...

ok guys..

we set a new WHP record on our mustang dyno today...

our 2.3 project car... on straight 93 OCTANE!! ECU FLASH!! stock maf.

with the new mods..

Standard precision 35R .63 hotside, now with a Blouch modified gt67 compressor wheel (changed description, written late last night)
JAM cylinder head work (more than what they normally do)
SwainTech heat coatings
ETS 4" FMIC
CBRD Lightweight Radiator

peak numbers were 476whp and 382wtq at 27psi on pump (still with slight ignition break up).. no knock

and at 25psi no knock 464whp and 370wtq...

keep in mind we have a low reading mustang... the last car that came to us from a dynojet did 390whp and 338whp on our dyno...

here ya go.

again this car has a JAM 2.3 with venolia pistons and oliver rods... and the most headwork they offer (and then some)

AMS 35R modded... AMS turboback.. our upper ic pipe and lightweight battery setup.. .etc... AEM trueboost... 850cc injectors..

a stock evo 8 does 194-204 on our dyno...

anyway... here is the chart....afr's barely get up in the 11's briefly.. so there is more on the table..

we have been trading maps with JESTR tune and have really made some solid gains in our knowledge of the 2.3... takes a bit different tuning than the 2.0's which we do 98% of the time...

More to come.... i think with slightly leaner mixture at 25.5 psi we will hit 500whp... you can see we are shutting down at 7200rpm and the hp is still climbing... the turbo is a bit lazier than the standard 35R was... but its acceptable to me.. and the torque NEVER drops..

hope you guys like... here she is on the rollers

WOW, congrats on the superb numbers Chad!!!

Can you post a chart showing the numbers before the new mods and the new numbers???

Also are there any plans of taking it to the track perhaps for a couple of runs to see where the car stands???

Did you take a vid of that beast on the dyno, I would love to see that!!!

thanks guys..

i can print out an older chart... we were running it much leaner 11.8afr-11.9 on pump... so, im curious to overlay when i get this up around 11.6-11.8 through the full pull.....

we will probably hit the track with it, although we wont launch it hard...

the anti surge housing Blouch machines for us, sounds like a JET!

At what point are you going to use the AEM EMS? Did you have something in mind? Or just going to max out with the MAF.
