Unhappy Anybody with an educated guess?

For some reason my car started making this constant wavering squealing sound at idle.
- If the clutch pedal is all the way out the sound is very loud and irritating.
- With the pedal all the way in, it minimizes the squealing sound but is still very noticable.
- If I apply just enough pressure on the pedal (about 1-3 inches) the sound stops.
Anyone have any idea what this could be?

Thanks for all the replies but the clutch has less than 12K miles on it and the TOB was replaced with the clutch kit. The clutch shows no signs of wear or slipping even when launched. Also, I forgot to mention before, the sound increases with revs.

Still think its the TOB?

When did it start happening?

BTW ACT = Not the greatest clutch to get with a 4g63.

ACT Pressure plates = to much force being put on to motor.
But thats my PERSONAL OPINION!

I'm not sure if this is any help... but I know that when I first start my car when it is cold... it makes the same "squeal" sound..and as the rpms jump.. then the sound gets louder.. is it kind of like a "screeeech" noise? I am almost positive that it is the TOB if this is the case....

If this guy has the exact opposite happening to his evo, why would you all say its the same problem?
