diesel,

it sounds even better in person!!

it's made from TIG welded 100% 304 stainless steel mandrel bent tubing..

and, nope, u don't need anything else... it bolts right up to the stock cat with a removable tapered flanged section (about a 6in section that conveniently can be removed when stepping up to the 3" downpipe and 3" highflow cat or 3" test pipe)...

i didnt lose any boost when i got mine installed.. it seems to hold longer actually. i believe when u get a downpipe installed, the boost will not go down at all! (note: you need a boost controller in order to keep the boost solid all the way to redline though, but you won't lose boost with the stock boost solenoid either)

when you say hold solid boost to redline...? you mean to hold the 19psi all the way, right...? i know it drops off to 16.5 after what...? 6000rpms...?

i don't want to do any electronics at this point... i want to get a decent amount of mileage on the car before i start doing any electrical...

is AMS going to be offering the DP as well...? and i thought they were making a Titanium exhaust as well...? that fall through...?

sorry, yeah.. i meant it will hold the boost up a little longer most likely even with the stock boost solenoid.. not the other way around..

it's ok to not do any electronics.. i totally understand. and even in stock shape the evo is a beast!..

the downpipe and O2 housing is ready!!.. it's going into production right now! i can't wait to get it on my car so i can go down to the track and run some low 12's!!

then i'm going for the bolt-in FMIC (truly bolt-in, using stock piping and no cutting involved.. it literally just pops right in!!) from AMS as well! it gave 20whp for AMS's EVO8!

i'm not sure there will be a titanium version exhaust, but anything is possible!

hey spooldswede FYI... The text on the drop down boxes on your site are almost illegible. Oh and you should get the Forge Valve on there under Mitsu engine.

Can't wait to hear from you.
I think I be back in the future for the FMIC too.
I just spent $3000 in flooring so I gotta wait on that.

The exhaust system is awesome. Perfect fit with no flaws. The best part is the price. Only about 450 to the public. Feel free to ask me any questions about it. There will be many more quality parts to come also. Check out pics at my Yahoo Photos .

It just doesn't make sense to vent to atmospere with a MAF because you are blowing off metered air. The only reason for it and the only reason why people do it is the noise it makes.
With any type of cone filter you will hear a recirc valve all day long.
Christ I hear the air going in and coming out!
Obvious recommendation is the Forge valve for price, quality, operation on the Evo. And it is a direct drop in.

Edit: I think Spooldswede can get you a Forge at a good price too.
