Freebie was for 5 people. You were one of them.

Since we missed you last time, we can arrange time to do yours next week.

I took off yesterday, since we work full time last July 4th holiday weekend....Saturday and Sunday..

I'm one of the 5 EVOs choosen and very happy with the reflash (If you were there, I'm the one with the Eibach lowered White Evo). There's much less turbo lag now and the power is all the way to red line. Man, I have to adjust my driving style now since the rev to red line is much quicker. Overall, the car is easier to drive fast without planning ahead as previous, less jerky when shipped too early, and idle is perfect like stock. I can't wait to drive it again tomorrow.
I don't have any dyno result but will do one soon. Race-Engineer people are topnotch and very responsible and pride of their work. I have no doubt their ECU reflash for the EVO will become popular.
My mods, RMR downpipe & exhaust, Eibach springs about 1.5" lowered, and the ECU reflash. My car is must quicker than stock now, even the Hungtintong Beach Mitsubishi guys said it after I let them drive my car (they're having the EVOs markup there but don't fall for it, come and keep asking for MSRP or leave and they'll fall. No, I did not bought my EVO there).
Anyway, I'm rarely post but this time I really want to share my opinion about the reflash. Final word, it's good.

I was one of them who got the reflash too.....I felt there is less bog now for some reason.

But on the other hand, I have installed an open air element after the reflash and I have noticed that my car is slower.........Why is that? Maybe I need to reflash again to compensate for the new mods??

It's very hard to say English.
but I will do my best

If you can, Please try ECU reset.

One way is
you can find "ENGINE logo" FUSE on your fuse box.
EVO have two fuse box.
one is inside engine room (TWO engine loge fuse)
other one is left hand of steering colume.
it's locate inside of coin box.(may be TWO engine logo fuse)
you take all of engin logo fuse, wait 15seconds.
and insert again.

other way is

Unfasten (-) terminal on battery, Wait 15second.
and fasten again.
but it make loose your streo setting, watch setting,..

you can feel it differ...
If some guys know what I am saying.

Please say again of ECU Reset.

Just got my R.E.A.L. ECU reflash done and it's awesome! Definately noticeable on the top end too. I love it! Kevin at RE really knows what he's doing and has a vast knowledge of ECUs. Road Race Engineering recommends these guy and so do I!

Thanks Rick and Kevin!

Since there isn't really any info on their site...Are there any dyno results? What are the performance gains? Does it hold boost til redline? If so, how much boost? Are there any warranties on it? Do you offer a mail in reflash? Do you have 93/94 Octane Maps? I am debating on the WORKS reflash as it seems to be the best available. I would like a comparison of the 2 if possible...
