Thumbs up real-engineering ecu installed

Ok,

I got done doing the http://www.real-engineering.com ecu.

Things I noticed.
1. More power from lower rpm range.
2. No flat spots.
3. Power stays until redline.
4. No more jerkiness during turns in first gear.
5. Much smoother idle.

It acts like stock but smoother and more power, I don't have a boost gauge but will be installing one this week and will let all of you know what boost it is running, Rick from real engineering told me it is running 1.5psi higher then stock. I drove it all day Sunday and no problems at all, I did some heavy canyon driving. So far I have the ultimate racing 3 inch exhaust with high flow cat, RMR intake and real engineering ECU, all of these items are top notch and very high quality, with tease mods the EVO truly turns into a beast, all I have to do as far as power is add a boost controller and this thing will be a monster, right now you can not compare it to stock evo at all. It is much faster. Hope this info helps you guys.

Ed - Why would you still require a boost controller? Boost map must have been modified through the reflash if you are now running 1.5 bar. ECU can do all of the boost control functions if it was programmed for your set-up.

I am not running 1.5 bar I am suposedly running 1.5 psi over stock which meand about 17.5 psi after boost settles down after 4000rpm, since i dont have a boost gause I don't know if I am running that much but the guys at real engineering told me that is what the program does, I will know for sure at the end of this week and write a full report, but as far as seat of the pants dyno, it is much better power.

1.5 bar?At that boost level you would be picking up the busted engine pieces off the road!

Let's see, it looks like they went from Hyundia to I would not trust there products from the looks of the site. does not say ANYTHING about the computer. And for 700 get the Vishnu, it looks better and they seems to work with other turbo cars. You get what you pay for.

If you represent Vishnu, just say out loud.

Thanks for letting us know the price...we did not updated. $500 is our current price.

Last..we never move from Hyundai to Mit..

Our headquarter is base in Korea www.race-real.com (Korean language only) since back in 1995 for Hyundai ECU related...also holds 95% market share of re-program tool distribution in Korea for Hyundai cars.

Hyundai is still our main business. You will see our 450hp New Tiburon soon from national magazine.

Did you know Hyundai also used 4G63 for Sonata models...EVO engine directly bolt to EF Sonata in our Gallery section.
Elantra was based from Mirage platform..

Please keep us update on your new ECUs. I'd like to know how they run in long term.

I don't represent Vishnu, I just know if I had a product I would have some more info on it. Also I did not know that Hyundai used the 4g63, I guess you learn something new every day.

Vishnu sells a piggy back device. This is a reprogrammed ECU.... Their website is not any less "trustworthy" than any other one out there.... Also, the ECU is less expensive than the XEDE....
