Bought a 2.3L Evo..incomplete list of mods, what should I check?/What next?
Get the shortest piping kit around like the Nisei Engineering pipe kit & Competition FMIC to stablize your inlet temps. Because if you step up to a turbo your going to need a FMIC anyways.

As far as a turbo upgrade if you want response without the lag then you choices are limited. You'll probably end up with a Green or 50trim.
If power is what your looking for then go with the AMS 35R kit!
Good luck!

I would do a full fluid change on everything. Unless the person before you knows exactly how many miles they were changed at, then start with a new maintenance schedule. This includes trans, t-case, rear dif, coolant, oil, and brake fluid. I would also change out the plugs too. I would definitely get rid of that s-afc and have it reflashed. Your cams are good for a daily driver but since you have the 2.3 you will always make more with a larger cam without loosing some drivability. Depending on how much money you can spend and the power goals you have then that will determine the turbo I would upgrade. If you want it similar to what you have now then get an fpgreen. Mods I would also do is a larger intercooler, piping, manifold and 02 if using a stock like turbo and some meth would help out too. That will easily put you over 400.
