what should my next step be?

hello, Im wondering what my next modification should be and wanted to see what your guys think! I have a 2005 evo 8 mr. I have an evo 9 turbo running 23.5 psi, manual boost controller, 5 speed tranny swap with an act clutch, cold air intake, a turbo back megan racing exhaust with test pipe, coilovers waiting to go in, defi gauges, aftermarket head unit, and a short shifter with aftermarket base bushings. What should i do next? I was kind of thinking of doing cams, but don't you have to do springs and valves and all that if you do cams? I was also possibly thinking of getting my turbo upgraded.. i dunno what is everyones opinion? thanks!

Well what are your goals for the car?? Also it Depends on what cams you get. Some cams you can run the stock springs without any issues and also there's no need to the valves.

ETS front mount, walbro 255 or similar, LICP, Larger injectors if you plan to go bigger turbo.

Fuel pump, FMIC, and GSC S1 would be a great next step.

GSC S1s, yes. You can get away with using bigger cams if you keep the revs reasonable. No need to rev to 9k if your peak power is a 6k.

Thanks for posting your whp. Because come this weekend, I will have the same setup as you. I already have a turboback exhaust and manual boost controller and this saturday I'm getting an evo 9 turbo, 255 fuel pump, custom licp, and an Invidia o2 housing + tune.
And eventually I plan to go for GSC cams and a ETS FMIC.

As far as your next step, you could port your intake and exhaust manifold, convert to E85, or install a meth kit.

e85 is kind of a no go for me because unfortunately there aren't really any stations around. And thanks for all the input guys! oh and i actually enjoyed the difference with the solid base bushings, i felt like it made the shifting a lot more stiff and complemented the short shifter pretty well as far as smoothness.. @ runker goo luck with your tune, and enjoy!
